Located at the base of Tanzania’s Mount Mbeya, coffee production on the Lunji Estate farm dates back to the colonial era of the late 1800s. The coffee is picked and de-pulped the same day. It then undergoes a long, 72-hr dry fermentation, leading to some wonderful complexity in the cup. The coffee is rinsed three times, sorted through grading channels, then dried on raised beds for 10-12 days. The result is a clean cup of Happiness that Shines On with wonderful floral and fruity notes and goes great while listening to your favorite string band.
